New RS26 ownwers

The wife and I just retired at the first of the year and purchased our 1st RV, a Thor Quantum RS26. We've camped before years ago and loved it, but this is our first motor home. We're in the process of getting it stocked and considering adding a dinghy vehicle. Really looking forward to seeing the country RV style.
And we're only about 30 minutes from the Thor service center, just in case.

Dennis & Janet

Congratulations and welcome.

How far along in your dinghy considerations? (determined how you want to tow? Dolly or four-down?)
Considering purchasing a vehicle specifically as a toad, or just want to use one you already own?

(We dolly tow mostly so we can bring along either of our cars and to minimize the modifications necessary--in the case of a lease car.)

Some cars you may consider, if you haven't already: The current Ford hybrid and plugins (C-Max Hybrid, C-Max Energi, Fusion Hybrid, Fusion Energi, and Lincoln MKZ Hybrid) all can be towed 4 down and the Energi versions can get 20+ miles from plugging them in.

Although Jeeps seem to be the most popular option for towing four down.

Thanks
At this point we're fairly sure we want to go four-down and are thinking of a new to us Jeep Liberty. I have an issue with my back that limits how small a vehicle (height) I can comfortably get in and out of. So far we know the Liberty works as well as the Ford Escape although it will need to be a pre 2013 for four-down towing. My wife drives an MKZ currently and I struggle with it and my F150 is probably a bit large for a toad.

Welcome! We got our rs26 in April '16 and have put 25,000 miles on it and love it. Since we are on the move I set up an account with Enterprise for the occasional need for a car and have only needed it 1 time.
