New to RV

just purchased Class C Winnebago View, absolutely love it.
Is anyone familiar with the Carefree Automated awning?
there is a beep that goes off every 30 seconds, I realized this is to warn that the batteries are low, but we have replaced the batteries twice, it will stop for a few minutes than resume the beep.
How can we at least disarm or stop the beep?

It sounds like you have a bad sensor that needs to replaced. Is there a way you can switch the awning to the manual mode? That should stop the beeping since it is in the automatic mode. Good luck.

Although everyone is welcome here you may get better responses about Winnebago issues on the Winnebago forum. All manufacturers tend to outfit and wire their rigs differently and someone over there may have already experienced the same problem.
