New to the RV world
My partner and I bought a 2021 Thor Vegas 24.1 on Friday. On Saturday we started a 950 mile trip from Florida to Delaware. Not sure if we are brave or crazy, but it was fun! The water tank leaked on our first attempt to fill it so we just used bottled water. We are learning new things everyday. We are looking forward to meeting other campers!

Where did the water tank leak...at the fill port or inside the camper somewhere? Many models with the gravity fill outside have issues taking on water. The line that runs from the outside fill port to the tank itself has a very common drop in it that acts sorta like a pee-trap in a sink. The standing water at the bottom point prevents the water from cresting over into the tank and cause water to gush out the fill port on the outside as you attempt to fill it. This can be corrected but the short-term fix is to "force" the water in to get it started. I cut the metal male end off the garden hose and wrapped electrical tape around it about an inch from the end. This acted as a kinda seal and allowed the pressurized water to push the water on into the tank. Later, I had the fill hose raised a bit and it eliminated the issue.

I also have a 2021 Axis 24.1. The leakage is probably in the mess of tubing underneath the foot of the passenger side bed and is probably a loose connection. It also may be a connection to the water heater which can be found behind the return air grill.
Good luck, and ask me any more questions you may have on that coach. I have lived with and solved many of its foibles over the last few years.

I suggest you have a look at the RV Street U-Tube Channel.
https://www.youtube.com/c/RVstreet/playlists
The is tons of good informational material about owning and maintaining an RV. An RV is not like a car where everything is designed to be nearly maintenance free. Stuff breaks, stuff rattles lose, things need to be maintained in order to remain in good working order.

Congrats on the new ride ...
Do a search for Ed Felkers rewritten manual on the 24.1. It is year 2016 but and likely most things are the same still ... few changes I am sure. He did a great job on the rewrite with some useful modifications contributed by owners.
We have a 2016 24.1 and have put 45K miles with few problems I am happy to say. Be prepared with the right tools, YouTube is your friend and a little know how and you will be good to go. As someone said, never be afraid to ask questions.
Cheers
