THOR #1927
Introduction

Hi. I am a long time RV user who just traded an older Thor Class B+/C for a newer one (Siesta ST 2015). My co-owner and I are very pleased with the changes from the 2011 to the 2015; have corrected most of the issues we had with the older one.
I have questions about how to store things in the large back storage area so if you have one of these please let me know how.
Glad to be a part of the forum!

Hello

How exciting for you! When do you get your new rig? Have you had a Thor 4 Winds before?
Sending you positive energy!

We should have it this coming weekend. No, never had a motorhome before. We've been the trailer route, along with pop ups and tents. This will be our first foray into his form of travels and camping. Cant wait. I'm so ready to hit the road.

That is wonderful!
I have had many motor homes & would not really have anything else. Hopefully this new one is the last...
Keep in mind that anything new will have some things that need to be fixed. Probably you already know this. Just keep a good list & try everything out as soon as you can so your dealer can take care of it. The walk through can be a little overwhelming if you have a knowledgeable person doing it. Take lots of notes....
Best of luck!

The storage area is a hit and miss and a do and redo. We use plastic containers to organize everything plus a tool box for the different tools you will want to carry. We will also use it for folding lawn chairs portable grill and a suite case for extra clothe on a long trip.

Thanks. That is what I had in mind.
I was wondering how you secure the storage boxes? There is nothing on the sides or top to attach anything like a bungee cord to. Or do you just have big enough storage boxes that they fill the area and don't move.
Thanks for you help!

Actually they are big enough they don't move much. I really don't have anything tied down in the storage are and it all seems to ride without any problems.

We have the Thor Four Winds Siesta 24ST which has a huge storage area in the back. The side one is not a problem; it is the back that I am trying to find out how to secure stuff.
Probably will just get large totes & put on either side & if trying to put something in the middle, will pack big totes on either side.
