New to RV'ing and close to committing!

Hi all,

I'm Dan. Looking at our first RV at Camping World, the Thor Freedom Elite 30FE. We have three kids ranging in age from 2-8. My primary concern is with the qualify of the Freedom Elite 30FE. There isn't a brochure for it and I am so new to RV''ing that I'm concerned with the systems.

What has your experience been like if you've had one? I'm pretty "handy" but that is around a home not necessarily around a motorhome.

How good are the cleanout systems? do I need to buy extras?

Is the 30FE a good start for us if we are wanting to go with a larger bunkhouse type model?

Also does the 30FE have any sort of black tank rinse feature?

Good luck That Freedom Elite is not on the www.thormotorcoach.com website , is that an old MH ?

The FE (Freedom Elite) is made for Camping World. You can look at a Four Winds, Chateau, or Quantum in the same floor layout. It just won't carry the FE Freedom Elite logo. Quantum is the upscale version of all four models.

I've got a Freedom Elite and like stated before that is only the badging as all of the names mentioned before along with the Freedom Elite are made by Thor. The only differences are badging and trim. I love the model you're looking at as the floorplan is very spacious. Good luck.

No it's brand new. I spoke to Thor and they said they don't put the Freedom Elite model on their website because it is a Camping World Exclusive. They said it is similar to the four winds in terms of location of systems/layout/etc.

We have freedom elite 26ft he. We love it. It is made for only CW. Same floor plan as Thor Four Winds.

I don't think it has a black tank rinser. I (and many others) am happy with the Tornado Tank Rinser. They are under $25 and easy to install. They really help.
