Smile Hi

Hi 👋🏻 everyone I'm a new RV owner. Thor Freedom Elite 23H. Full timer with my little dog 🐶. Retired and a Army Cavalry Veteran. My queen bed has the foot of the bed cut off at an angle to make space to inter the bathroom. Does anyone know where I can order fitted sheets and mattress liner that will fit without having to tuck the excess under the mattress!

Thanks
Bruce

Welcome to the forum! Thanks for your service to the country!

Can't help your dilemma. That's one of the problems common with a corner bed. RV beds are odd sizes anyway, and thick pads change the dimensions.

You might check a wider RV forum, like IRV2.com Good luck!

I don't have any recommendations for your bed ,other than to find someone handy with a sewing machine, but wanted to welcome you to the forum and wish you happy and safe travels.

Welcome! As far as the sheet dilemma goes, it's common to have "oddball" size mattresses in RV's. My Hurricane has a "short King" mattress, for which finding sheets that fit properly is challenging (and expensive). My solution is to use regular King sheets and take up the slack with safety pins and tucking excess fabric underneath the mattress.

That's what i am doing with the standard queen sheets and comforter. If i can have a fitted sheet made it would be a little better.

Have a Blessed Day 🙏🏻

Hi! And thank you so much for your service.
As for the sheet problem...we started off in a Roadtrek..then to a Class C and now the 2017 Thor Vegas.
Early on I found the easiest solution was to buy a foam mattress topper from Walmart and cut to fit the mattress exactly.
Then I bought a sheet..or 2 sheets when necessary for a bigger bed, and took to a seamstress or upholsterer. Had them make an envelope with a very long zipper on 3 sides to fit the mattress topper. Lay that on top of your bed and you have a wrinkle free bottom sheet and a more comfortable bed. I just fold up the top sheet and blanket and stow neatly at the bottom of the bed. You can turn the topper over and get extra time if you want. It cost us $50 including the very long zipper for each bed.

We use the sheet elastic that look like suspenders to tighten up regular king sheets to fit our "RV King"

I think we got them on Amazon

We also washed them a lot in hot water & dried them in hot dryer

Not perfect but they work pretty good

Safe travels

Susan

thank you to everyone that replied to my issue with my mattress for my 23H. I did find that the standard full-size sheets fit very well and then I use those suspenders underneath to hold the corners together gives me a nice fit The challenge I'm having now is of course these mattresses aren't the top of the line and now I'm getting an indentation where I sleep to solve the problem they won't anywhere from $300-$500 to buy a new mattress that won't cause this problem it's always something

"Queen" in an RV is typically 60 x 75 inches, where a regular queen is 60 x 80. Since I am about 72 inches tall, I use a 4 inch square foam filler at the head end, to make the coach mattress longer.

Some folks claim the Denver mattress replacement is money well spent. Your results may vary...

This site caters to custom sizes. We ordered a memory foam mattress for our old MH from them. Very good customer service and nice mattress.
