THOR #12596
New Thor 24F Owner

Started with a 48' race trailer with living quarters, then borrowed family's 26' weekend warrior, then downsized to Lance 835 truck camper.

Had a baby and along with our 2 dogs our awesome Lance just couldn't handle us anymore.

My buddy bought a Chateau 24F and I looked at it...wow.

Found a Four Winds 24F fully loaded and a month later picked it up.

Couldn't be happier.

1st trip water heater was broken (it was the board), one cabinet wouldn't stay shut and the shelf above the kitchen didn't fit. Had all taken care of at my local RV guy and just waiting on my reimbursement check from Thor. They have been pretty good to work with.

Couldn't take it to a local dealer as one stated if I didn't buy my RV there they wouldn't service it, 2nd dealer was 4 months out.

Just got back from our 2nd outing and everything was perfect.

Some here may want to check out our sportsmobile swivels, they are sweet.

Just ordered airbags for towing, should be installed next week.

I like those swivel bases. Do they swivel and lock in position at 90 degrees or just 180 degrees.

They only lock in the forward position, they dont just spin around all willy nilly though, it does take some effort to spin them. Meaning by normal use sitting, getting in and out of the seat, they wont spin.

Local camping this month, desert racing every other month thereafter, then Big Sur over new years.

We love our Four Winds 24F. We have the Chevy chassis. Those swivel seats look nice. We occasionally tow a Honda HR-V, but no air bags...does fine as is.

I'll be towing a 1500lb or more flatbed with about 2500lbs on it, need the airbags for the sag and tongue weight.

With your toad, you really have no tongue weight which makes sense you don't need the airbags.
