Semper Fi! Thank you for the warm welcome.

I bumped into another Miramar owner on Instagram, and he made me feel like I made the biggest mistake in the world buying the coach that I did. I went into this knowing that regardless of whatever RV you buy that you'll have to wade through problems and issues. I just figured, take day by day.

Russ - first welcome and congrats on the new coach!! Sorry that your intro to electronic RV forums was from a negative type. You'll see some of that on here, sometimes with good reasons. Mostly though, we share experiences. I can honestly say that in our first 3 years of being on electronic RV forums, this one has been the most helpful in resolving and preventing problems.

Enjoy your new coach - we sure love ours. (PS: problems and all)

I agree. I had some issues at first. Nothing too serious, all were fixed and I have been pleased.

I can't tell you guys how happy I am to hear that there are indeed happy Thor Motorcoach owners. Outside of the forums, it is really a challenge to find positive reviews about the company. I appreciate the positive feedback!

One thing I am finding, is that there are a lot of military in the RV world. I am a Marine (once, always). Must be something restless in our blood.

Yep - there are a lot of us here. I think it has something to do with the wanderings (redeployments) that we've done. And as you say lots of us here.

We have a 2015 Miramar 34.2 and enjoy the heck out if it. I think people don't understand what a Miramar is until you spend some time in one. And see what a nice coach it is including that great pass through bay and 22.5" tires.

We were RV shopping for about a year before we came across this particular RV. There seemed to be a lot of value packed into the coach. It just made the most sense based on some of the requirements we had.

Welcome! Wow, that is a pretty coach. We just got our Windsport 29M about two months ago and have more miles on it than I do my motorcycle. It's just that much fun to drive.

Thank you! I've been getting a few compliments on it. The paint job was definitely a nice touch on these models.

I drove it from my house to our first campground tonight, it seemed like I was driving in a tropical storm. I had the wipers up as high as they would go and almost had a hard time seeing what was on the road. This is the second time I have driven it and I already have anxiety about driving it, this put that in overdrive.

I first night in the rig, it has a real homey feel to it.
