New Thor Vega 27.3 owner
Picking up our new MH Friday and new to the forum. We have not owned a MH in 30+ years. Had one when our kids were young, they got busy with other things, we sold it, and now my wife and I are getting back into it.
I'm kind of concerned with all the initial problems I'm reading people are having with their brand new MH. We live some 6+ hours from the dealer we're buying it from. Hoping we're not going to be "camping" is his lot waiting for repairs.

Get Ed's manual and go through the PDI at the dealer--check everything out.

I'm assuming they mean 25.3 and just had a typo.

The 27.3 got my attention also.
In a news report on RUV sales Thor implied 25-feet and under is the RUV arena. It seems doubtful they plan to go longer than that, although it is physically no different than Class Cs that extend beyond 30 feet.

Welcome to the forum! All RVs have issues, for most of the Vegas/Axis owners I've talked with, problems have been few and minor. You must understand that forums like this are magnets for problems and complaints, as it should be.
Some legitimate shortcomings with the earlier models have been fixed by Thor. They have been getting better each year. Thor may allow you to have warranty work done closer to home than your dealer. My dealer is a thousand miles away, and a local dealer who sells Ace but not Vegas or Axis did authorized work on mine.
Bring your questions here. You'll find good folks with a wealth of knowledge.

We bought our 2016 Axis 24.1 in April 2016. We are happy with it. One thing I fixed was the four plug usb plug in in the br. It had been wired backwards and did not work.
We have been on several short trips and going a little longer this time to northern Mi.
Especially appreciate Ed's manual.

Very cool. That is down the street from me--we frequently make it to the Thunder Over Michigan shows.
