New (to us) 2017 Windsport 29M

Hi all,

Just signed papers today for our 2017 Windsport 29M (7K miles). Thanks to Jerry's Hurricane mods thread - I feel like I have a decent grip on what to expect and do. We pick it up in 2 weeks.

My wife & I are first time RV owners and looking forward to many years of fantastic trips and new friends.

With only 7000 miles the first owners may have given up on repairs.. yes, these things have all kinds of problems when new to be solved. I wanted to drive mine into the ocean but I live in a desert... it spent 6 months out of 12 the first year in shops, multiple because Ford warranty one thing , Thor another and when they meet in the middle, well.. just saying.. get receipts from what the owners have done so you have a base to go from..

Congratulations and welcome to the forum. We to have a 2017 windsport 29m. Ours was a left over with 960 miles got a good deal with 7 year warranty. Love the floor plan and looks of the Rv. This is our first motor home to and we love it!! We have some small issues but I fixed them at the camp ground. Just remember to enjoy the trips that's the main goal!
