Newbie Challenger 37FH

Looking forward to all the useful aid in this forum. New to the class A scene. Looking for some assistance. When shutting down the camper my residential whirlpool fridge continues to run even after disconnecting the battery switch. Am I missing something? MHSRV dealership is absolutely silent when your seeking answers after the sale is final.

I can't help with your refrigerator question ...
But welcome to the Forum, and I hope that your new Pride and Joy brings you lots of Miles & Smiles!
(But I suspect that it's normal for the fridge to do that...)

Welcome to the forum.

Are you plugged into shore power?

If not,

Is the inverter on? Turn it off.

I think I just figured it out. Shore power is disconnected. The inverter is running the refrigerator off the batteries until the 25hr(default setting) expires. I switch it off but it runs until that time has elapsed. I need to change the setting. Correct me if I’m wrong.

Not sure about the newer setups but on our 2015 Challenger when I turned the inverter off it turned off. With the new fangled systems you might actually have to turn it off at the inverter itself and not at the remote control panel. Again, not sure.

2020. Spoke with TMC and there is a problem because I cannot turn power off from the panel inside. I actually have to go to the inverter underneath and do it. Luckily it’s the same panel. The dealership we bought it from (MHSRV) hasn’t responded so we are going across the street to holiday world to get it fixed.

Duh

After reading the manuals for the inverter and inverter remote panel which were not provided by the dealer it available on Thor’s website, I finally figured it out. In the manual for the remote panel it states that the power button turns the unit off. And then below that it states “NOTE: Only when the inverters power button is off.” Sure enough now I can control the inverter from the remote panel. 🤨
