Newbie from Nashville

Hey folks: Just picked up a used Thor Chateau 31E. Looking to take it on the road and chase the sun this winter through the Sun Belt and hit the PNW in the spring/summer.

So many questions, everytime I dig into something I uncover a new topic to learn about, which I'll try to post in the appropriate place.

Anyone know of a an e-learning type course that walks new owners through where everything is/typical malfunctions?

It seems like every important board/switch/controller is in a different area or compartment of the rig, and I'm sure it's for a good reason but wow! No RV experience here...

Welcome to the Thor Forum and the first thing to do if you have not already is register with the Thor Website under Resources enter your VIN number and you you should find all of the manuals for your unit and there are also a lot of videos and of course youtube is the best friend of RV`ers . Its a huge learning curve even for experienced RV travellers,
most of all take your time and remember the journey is the destination.
Best of luck and safe travels and stay safe in these different times for both our countries.
BTW have been to Nashville many times and will be back when the pandemic is over and its safe to travel

Welcome to the forum, and congratulations on the start of some really great times!
There are some videos in a thread titled "how to use your rv".
Try to find that thread, and settle in with some popcorn...

Welcome to the forum. As you go along and have questions, just ask and someone will have an answer or can point you in the right direction. YouTube is a great resource. Try starting our on a couple of short trips to learn how everything operates and is operating correctly before going on that long journey. You also need to figure out what types of tools to bring along for road side repairs. Basic tools include screw drivers, hammer, various plyers, sockets and open/box wrenches...

Welcome!

Although it was prepared for the Axis/Vegas rigs, you might benefit from the excellent crowd sourced manual by Ed Felker. Find it as a sticky under the topic "Motorhome Tech Topics." Many components are similar to your model.
