We find things all the time. Walk around prior to moving RV is a must. Did It damage the sidewall or just the plug? If just the pluwg and wires it not too bad. You can get replacement parts on Amazon or Camping World.

Replacing the outlet or fixing the cord are very easy. Parts are available online or at your local RV parts dealer.

To avoid issues in the future, we recommend that both of you do a walk-around before moving the RV. Easy to forget the little things! Put together a list to follow.

Very easy to forget something, especially with the excitement of having something new.

A little patience, walk around, take a breath, then go (oh forgot the hose)--it happens to all of us

The fix should be easy; especially if only the cord is damaged but as everyone mentioned above all the parts should be available online.
