Maiden trip, just completed.

Some four (4) thousand miles over 3 week period to visit new Great grand babies in western PA. Great trip, beautiful fall leaves and wonderful times with family.

However, it was not without some issues. A week into the trip the Auto Transfer Switch failed and we could not use shore power. Generator worked fine but not an ideal solution when staying in RV parks. Thor overnighted a new one and had it installed. The new one failed 11 days later so we were on generator for the last two days of the trip. Scheduled with dealer to have it checked out and repaired Nov 3.

In addition there is some 15 items on little things that need attention. All in all other than the ATS failing twice the maiden trip was terrific. Can't wait til we get it on the road again. Hopefully before Thanksgiving.

From the sounds of things tomorrow would be ok to head to the keys. The last couple of days have been somewhat wet down that direction.

In Wildwood you were only about 40 mile east of us. Enjoy your trip and it would be nice to share a cup of coffee down the road.

Have a great day.
