Picking up a New Four Winds Super C on Friday!

Hubby and I have been looking for 3 years! We started with the idea of a DP for full timing, bought a hardwall Jayco pop-up, and now are getting our Four Winds Super C 35SB on Friday. We are immediately taking it to camp for the weekend!

We will post pics!

In the meantime, any advice on PDI for a motorized unit? Our little Jayco trailer fits in this beast 3 times!!

First Off - Congrats on your new rig. Next up - here is a link to a PDI web page with lots of info. There are a number of them on this forum as well. Plan on going early and staying late. Once the deal is done and you drive away - your leverage is riding right along with you. Some folks make a deal with their dealer to stay at the dealership for a night or two - build a list of "stuff" that needs fixing. In any event, enjoy the new rig.

Did you also consider class A motorhomes? I was wondering about class A vs. Super C, and curious how you made that decision.

Yes. We knew that we couldn't get the amenities we wanted, outdoor kitchen and entertainment, with full wall slide, lots of sleeping, and 10K towing without going to a much higher priced coach. Our toddler also wanted to have the bunk over the cab. Entegra now makes a bunk model but we aren't ready to spend 300K. The gas model class A's didn't have the towing of the interior. We are only missing tile floors compared to the blingy A's. Hubby also loves the Ford truck front end.

Down the road, retirement number 2, we will do an Entegra more than likely but for now this is best for us.
