New to RV World

Retirement coming up, looking at RUV's. Really Like the Thor Vegas or Axis, but still trying to sort out the difference? Like the floorplan 25.2

Quality is the same, there are color differences besides just the headlights.

Mechanically they are identical.

Thor (as well as other RV manufacturers) have identical models so that two dealers close together can sell separate models and be exclusive dealers for that model. For example in Tampa one dealer sells Vegas and another dealer about 4 miles away sells Axis.

When you tour the factory, you'll see that Vegas and Axis go down the same assembly line. All the mechanicals, appliances and floor plans are identical. Besides the difference in the headlights, the exterior color is different and the interior decor choices are slightly different. You can download brochures from the Thor website.

We have had about 75 nights in our 25.2 so far, and if fits us quite well for the way we travel now. Others here are happy with their choice of other floor plans.

Good luck with your adventures! Take your time and enjoy the journey.

The cabinet wood is the same with two choices (cherry or med. mable) in both ...the main fabric pattern (pillows/valance) are the only difference in the other colors. Options are just a few and I have not seen any without them all in the new units here in California (2nd battery, 15k BTU Air Con vs 13k, exterior TV, oven vs Convection Microwave and attic fans) Exterior only differences are in the accent color (as it's mostly beige).

Just send me an email to bevedfelker@live.com. I'll send the manual. There is a very detailed pre-delivery delivery checklist to ensure fir and finish as well as systems operation is correct. Even if you do not buy a Thor product you'll find all the checklists useful.
