New Vegas Owner

Just purchased a 2016 24.1 Vegas. It was purchased new, driven from Florida to the West coast and then traded in for a bigger model. My PDI is in one week (from this post) and then (foolishly) I am taking it out for an overnight-er and the two week trip a week later.

I see that AXIS, Vegas and 24.1 topic tags trend high here. Hope that's a good thing !

LOL Welcome and congrats. Yes there are a lot of us on here.

Make sure you grab Ed's manual (a crowd sourced owner's guide he put together) before your PDI.

Thanks and Thanks!

Yep, found this place looking for a better manual than Thor provides. I downloaded it and was underwhelmed. Left a comment with Ed and hopefully will get that in advance. Still, getting good info outside of Thor from forum info and RV blogs.

Welcome and congratulations on your choice.
Please realize that many of the problems with the earlier Vegas and Axis model years won't be a concern for you with your 2016.
Bring your questions here, you'll find lots of friendly folks with years of experience, willing to help.

Welcome to Vegas World. Purchased my 2017 25.2 in May and have really enjoyed it. A few minor glitches but overall a great experience so far. This forum has been an invaluable asset. The knowledge and experience is phenomenal. As Jamie mentioned download Ed's guide, it's terrific. Good luck.

We bought our Axis in the freeze of January !!
Since mid may we have put approx. 7500 miles on it and LOVE IT !
We have found a neat campground near home and love to camp
'down by the river' when we cannot get away !

Today, bought some more neat stuff for it !!

We are like kids with a new toy !!

Hope you enjoy your Vegas as much as we do our Axis !!

Congrats from a '16 Axis 24.1 owner. Also have Ed Felker's manual which I have used while on the road because I forgot some things as far as basics like running the AC and micro at the same time.... If that is the worst that happens, I've got it made! Took ours from SoCal to Yellowstone and then through Montana on our way back south. No issues to talk about and 9 MPG with what seemed to be constant wind problems.... Still one of the greatest experiences of our lives and looking forward to more. Enjoy.

Talking The new Guy

Hello everyone !! I am Big Ron (Costa Rica born and 26 years living in this great country)
I purchased an Ace 2017 30.2. First RV ever. We took a trip from North Georgia to Yellowstone Park passing thry Badlands,Rushmore Mtn, them to Utah Arizona,New Mexico and back to Gerogia. Never before had the experiance and we loved it. Next time I need to plan the driving time a bit better cause it can take much longer than expected,Few things did not remember how to operate but few phonecalls to Thor and they directed me.
Hope to learn a lot with all your help.
Drive safely!!
