Potential Palazzo Owner
We are thinking about purchasing a new leftover 2015 Palazzo. We are asking any forum users to provide any advice they have for new RVers or advice for new Palazzo owners.
We are thinking about purchasing the Palazzo from Camping World. If you have any advice to offer regarding Camping World Sales and Service, we would appreciate from hearing from you.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Did you pickup the 2015 Palazzo? We just pickup a 2017 in May. we were not disappointed with the purchase. It has great MPG, on our first trip from Los Angeles (Southern California) to Big Sur (Central Coast), we got 11.5 MPG and I was pulling a Range Rover HSE. The drive down the HWY 1 was fun , the coach handle well through all the curves.

Yes
We didn't buy the 2015 Palazzo, but we found a 2016 Palazzo that we liked better and purchased that one. We've used it pretty much every weekend since we purchased it and think it works great. We've had a few small issues with it, but Camping World in Richmond Indiana has been great to work with in getting things fixed.

2016 Palazzo
We also just purchased a 2016 Palazzo 33.2. The final "Walk-thru" has been scheduled for tomorrow afternoon...and we're excited to drive her home!
During the walk-thru I will verify that my list of negotiated adjustments has been completed to my satisfaction.
That said, we'd really appreciate any suggestions regarding particular items/potential issues that might be important to check out prior to taking possession.
Thanks for any help.

Did you get a good price on the 33.2? Did you pay under $150K
Mike Thompson sold us the MaxGaurd that is worthless. It suppose to prevent the exterior from getting water spots, well it doesn't work. They have already applied the coach 2 times and ready to ask for our money back.
Make sure they walk you through all the workings of the motorhome: the water utility bay - go through all the switches and know what they do and when to use them.
Know where all the breakers for everything that needs a motor to move - slides, bed over cab.
Radio/monitor system - HDMI will work with your iPhone/Android phone. make sure when your connectivity works on the external plug-it was on the bottom right side of the monitor (HDMI & USB combo plug) Your have to bring the cables with you.
GFI in bathroom always trip on ours when switching to different types of power input - Generator to Shore to Inverter.
Exterior Ladder - dose it move when you climb on it? it should not move.
Slides - make sure you know where all the switches are for them and test them multiple times - run them in and out / up and down (BED)
We have been fortunate with ours. we are installing more toys on ours than actual problems, but we have a very good RV Repair guy that knows everything about the Palazzo.
I hope this list did not scare you, but you did ask.
Good luck.

Palazzo "walk-thru"
Those were very helpful suggestions, bakjong.
A hair dryer and telephone cables were just added to my walk-thru testing supplies...thanks to you.

my input, after 50+k miles and around the country and Canada:
-great diesel mileage... we average 11.4mpg
-300hp is plenty of pulling power, including mountains
-smooth ride
-low ride height due to the XCS chassis
-lower maximum roof height of 11'9", much less worries about overpass heights
-because of the 17' wheel base, easy and tighter turns, easier backing
-10,000lb hitch - we pull our toad and don't even know it's even there
-on our 33.3 bunkhouse, everything is accessible and useable while driving
-Magnum Inverter/Charger provides everything you need to manage power
-6k generator with AGS is exceptional, easy, and relatively quite

We're pleased with the price
bakjong-
We did pay less than $150k for our soon to be MH (as of tomorrow...yippee!).
Just like you, we're already looking into modification options.
We really liked the FR Legend's sofa w/built-in cup holders and small, attachable tables. (But the Palazzo "felt" so much better overall.)
So we're (already) considering a Theater seating substitute w/cup holders to replace the existing sofa. Thor's Challenger floor plan includes a double recliner w/cup holders, but not sure if Thor would consider selling separate furniture pieces...preferably in "leather" that might be a perfect color match to our benches.
We'll be adding a power surge protector right away.
Once we get "Blondie" home I'll be measuring every nook and cranny and purchase bins to securely hold a variety of items, including my art and sewing supplies.
Out of curiosity, would you mind sharing the list of toys have you added?
I like toys too!

Air Horns and Solenoid to temporary increase air bag height to back into incline driveway (It raises the whole coach).
