Hello all !!! Just joined this forum today. We purchased a 2019 Citation 24SJ this past Saturday and will pick it up this Saturday, 07/31/2021. We love camping, have several dogs and hopefully will be getting more into camping. We are from New Bern, NC.

On our way to Okeechobee Shooting Sports the end of August for two weeks of camping and a Marine Corps squadron reunion.

Looking forward to meeting all on here or maybe somewhere OTR.

Craven County is a beautiful part of NC, until a hurricane decides to come up the Neuse (I remember Bonnie very well). The KOA across the Neuse from New Bern is one of the best in the US. Welcome to the Forum.

Welcome and enjoy

Don't forget to get familiar with your new unit and to test everything prior to heading out on a longer trip

Haven’t been to too many KOAs, have you? That one is the worst I have ever been to.

I been a KOA VIP member from 2016 to 2020. I did not renew last year. My card number is 1ATU52 which I have had since 1992. I was last in New Bern in 2015 to revisit Tryon Palace and see what had changed on the water front. We moored our sail boat (Vivacity 20, twin keel) at the old fish processing plant on the south shore of the Trent, 1967 - 1970.
The worst KOA I know is located in Mount Pleasant, TX. Very nice people but camping in a swamp after 11 inches of rain in not my thing. I was there, May 2021.
