Slide question

Our manual says to lubricant the slide assembly (rollers, slide tubes, lever assembly). I can see the slide tubes but not the rollers or lever assembly. How do I access them and what’s the right lubricant to use?

Find out what manufacturer your slide is, and then you can find a youtube video on it. That's what I did and it was very helpful.

An Axis has rollers on the bottom of the slide but no tubes or lever assembly. You have a Lippert Schwintec slide system and although they used to recommend periodic lubrication (you can find their video on YouTube) they no longer recommend lubing it.

This is a video on maintenance of a Schwintec slide system.

I called the company several years ago because I found it nearly impossible to lube the slide from the inside of the coach as well as the outside. They told me lubing it from the outside was all I needed to do.
