I happen to work for Gulfstream (no space), we build corporate jets.
Did you guys build this one?
It's kind of the best of both Worlds.

In case of adding windows or large doors to create a bike garage, I would want to add perimeter frame that may not be there. Cutting through wall is easy, but adding a frame in an existing laminated wall probably takes design and fabrication skill — unless there happens to be cross members already in wall at right location. I’m rarely that lucky.

We went with the Thor Chateau 25V. Actually 26', HUGE basement, twins in the back convert to king, no jackknife, HUGE basement underneath, can leave the slide/dinette in and still use the entire coach, cool bathroom layout. Did I mention HUGE basement?

2016 Thor Axis 24.1

We love our 2016 Thor Axis 24.1. This will be our 6th season owning it and although, we are probably selling it this year to go a little bigger, we have zero regrets and it will be bittersweet for us. Welcome to the THOR community!

I would be upsizing from a Ford Transit Class B that I built for annual father-daughter trips.

My Transit has to sell before I can get into a Thor.
Welcome!! We also joined this forum before we made our purchase. The people are friendly, and they are more than willing to share their wealth of knowledge. We are first time RVers, and what we learned on this forum gave us the courage to take the plunge. Covid has curtailed trips we had planned to take, but I finally made reservations tonight for a 5 day trip at the end of this month. We can’t wait! The only thing I will say is the sofa in the 24.1 is great for using as a bed, but it stinks as a relaxing place to unwind at the end of the day. We replaced ours with recliners last weekend. Also, make certain you can stretch out on the bed. My husband’s feet hit the wall, and he is under 6 ft. tall. We still love our Vegas. Good luck and enjoy the shopping experience!

We have a 2021 28A and had an alignment issue. THOR wouldn't touch it, but we got Chevy to reimburse us for a third party to do the alignment. They wanted us to take it to a Chevy dealership, but there weren't any with 100 miles (San Diego) that had a machine that would take the dually's. I've read that if you identify an alignment issue when you do your test drive, then THOR takes care of it. If you have Chevy take care of it, be persistent! They drag it on hoping you will get frustrated and do it yourself!
