So now I’m confused.... my 2019 Class A is on a typical Ford 20500lb F53 chassis. But I notice that the documentation that came with it calls it an F550. Clearly that means something else now... why the change?

I went back a fourth about purchasing a diesel pusher class A and the Omni. I choose the Omni when I found out about the new RB34 model for 2021. I have a deposit on and Omni slated for late November delivery. My problem is that I never drove a magnitude/Omni before... to all the magnitude and Omni owners, how does it drive? Does it sound like a rattle box like a regular class C? I hear the F550 chassis is a dream, true?
Thanks all.
We just bought a 2020 Magnitude BH35.

Our previous rig was a Chev 2500HD pulling a 2012 Voltage 3200 Toy Hauler.

We live in SLC, and nobody close had what we wanted, and prices were steep for what they had. I ended up flying to Yuma AZ to pick our unit up. I drove it back in two days, sort of a crash course and shakedown in one. Three words:

I LOVE it.

It drives nicer than my Silverado, it's quiet, and the amenities are amazing. As others have said, it's like driving a large pickup. Even backing it up is a breeze. I'm so happy not to be worrying about trailer tire blowouts, hitch problems and incessant noise and bucking.

She's going to the shop next week for a few punchlist warranty items, but nothing serious. Overall, we've now done three trips with her and we couldn't be happier.

So, drives like a dream, rides like a dream, quieter than my previous trucks. Plus we love the insides! I think you'll be pleased too.

Happy Motoring!'

What does a VIN decoder say? The VIN is the true indicator and not a piece of paper. What model class A

Ford did make an F-550 stripped chassis but that was many years ago. I think the last year was 2007. I think the only stripped chassis now are the F53 and F59..... at least that is all that is listed on the Ford website.

I can't imagine a motorhome manufacturer would ever buy a chassis with a cab and then remove it to build a class A.

Here is all the VIN Decoder says....

It’s a 2019 30 foot Newmar Bay Star Sport 3008, class A. The other interesting thing I just noticed is that the “window sticker” says it’s a 208 inch wheelbase but in reality it is only 200 inches. I can’t imagine that Newmar shortened it. I don’t guess I really care - it is what it is - but it’s a puzzle.[ATTACH]26103

Pete,
Whatever it is: it's a really nice-looking rig!

Congrats!! Looking at the same one and absolutely love the F550 portion and the floor plan. Love my 2017 F350 Dually as well hence being in the ford camp

What I am reading is that the "punch list" stuff is normal and not to worry about? Thats a bummer that they use us as their test dummies lol
