2022 Thor Delano 24RW. Mercedes 3500 sprinter

Enjoying the coach the best we can . But have several assembly defects that I found the first few days after out pick up February 1st. The issues are severe to cosmetic. Any advice from your experience with the 365 day Manufacturers Warranty Deadline. Service appointments have been canceled and I forsee a long delay for the repairs to be made . Or if they will even be considered to be repaired at all. Thank you

Notify your dealer and Thor warranty support of your issues before the deadline. Thor and their dealers like everyone else is backed up but I bet that they honor the warranty.

This too will pass.

Make a Warranty Punch List and send it to your dealer and to Thor Warranty Customer Service.

If it was me, I would be contacting Thor Warranty Customer Service and asking to be scheduled at the Thor Factory Service Center in Wakarusa, IN.

They will perform repairs better than any dealer. They have direct access to parts. And they will fix things you may miss.

Congratulations, although you may have joined the site a few days too late to get the best advise which is a thorough PDI before talking delivery.

But given where you are today, my advice would be.

1. Follow instructions from post #2 and #3 as thoroughly and quickly as possible.
2. Take your time though, look for other things, do the thorough PDI, go through EVERY ASPECT of the coach, there are lists on this site to tell you everything to check for. ASSUME Nothing, VERIFY EVEREYTHING.
3. Of the 4 items known, I would publish to this site for advice on them. You may get simple resolutions to all 4 of them even what you may consider as severe.

Look at this way, you are at the right place for help, share the information and get the best advise.

But most of all they calm and cool with your Dealer & Thor MC. It is your RV now. Burn no bridges.

You’ve got good advice here already. But I’d add a thought if you are “handy”. Consider whether the issues are things you can fix yourself. Sure, you shouldn’t have to, but if you are able, you’ll learn a lot while doing the repairs, it’s likely you’ll do better work than the tech (so called) at your dealer and you’ll save a lot of time. If you give a dealer a list of issues they may only tackle a few of them with each appointment. Don’t waste the appointment letting them fix the easy stuff. Lastly, go out in the field and camp. It’s the best way to find the bugs and you’ll have fun doing what you bought it for. Good luck.

I agree with Pete. When I bought my Hurricane I figured the warranty would fix any defects I found. Well, the list started getting long and the selling dealer was booked for months. I wasn't going to let it sit at the dealer for repairs when the chassis and slide worked fine. I fixed everything myself, learned a lot about the behind the scenes stuff and now have a solid working RV.
