Life tends to get in the way, time-wise.
I meant to post my experience with Thor, so as to give another view-point on the 'service and warranty issue'.
When we took our coach out of storage this spring, we found a few items that needed looking into, that would require a trip to our "service dealer". I call them our service dealer, as they are NOT the dealer we purchased new from, but another retailer whom we were directed to BY THOR, as we were unhappy with the service and time that our selling dealer put us through. By steering us to another dealer, pre-approving all service for us, and taking care of the 'handshake', my Thor representatives saved us much heart and headache. We've still had issues with service at the new place, but they are corrected IMMEDIATELY.
So, back to the new issues: By the time we would have our coach back up to Illinois, from storage in Tennessee, our warranty would be expired, or so I thought. At the urging of my service department, I phoned my guy at Thor to make sure any work would be covered, as my appointment was another week down the road. Thor guy informed me that my warranty indeed had already expired (I checked my papers... yep, he was right) BUT, he noted my call and promised they would still cover the issues. Catching flies with honey still exists, my friends. I have nothing but good to say about both Thor and my new service department (the manager of it even remembered me from when we purchased the coach at the "other" dealership.... Even HE disliked the old dealer!).
