Thor Sequence newbie
Hello Everyone,
We had a Thor toy hauler that we bought in 2005. I towed it with a Ford Diesel pickup and then a GMC Sierra diesel. We loved the trailer and it did very well over the years. But as time went by, we were not using it as much because it was a lot to get it ready for a trip. I weighed it and it was 10,000 pounds fully loaded. If we weren't going for at least a week, it wasn't worth the effort.
We had looked at the Travato a couple of years ago but laughed at the price tag and how small it was.
Then I started thinking it would be cool to have something to just drive and go, fit in a parking space, be self contained and my wife could drive.
We ended up buying a 2022 Thor Sequence Class B camper van. We had our first trip to Carpinteria State Beach this past week and we love it. We had to downsize but it has been fun trying to figure out what we need to bring with us.
I have already had to do some repairs (the bed broke on the 2nd night) but we are still very happy with our van. I am using it as my daily driver. I do a lot of my work from home, but now I can work from the van.
We look forward to hearing from other Thor owners on their travels and "fixits"
Happy Trails!
Ben and Gigi
