tv in 29fe

Hello to everyone;
Trying to decide on a new class c. Have been looking at the Thor and like the layout of the 29fe. Except who would want a tv between the windows and over the dinette. You can't watch unless on sofa and no way to sit 4 people at the dinette table to play cards. Would probably buy the 30fe if not for the kitchen layout and the 10' awning. Has anyone moved the tv up to the overhead bunk where they are in all the other Freedom Elites? Thanks and have a great day on the road.
Ilaka

TV over dining table

We have a similar floor plan (2016 28H) and really like the TV between the windows. I guess it depends on how you "live" in your motorhome. It's only Mr. Homer and me -- no kids unless you count the corgi. We are very comfortable with the TV's location but I can see where it could be an issue if you have additional people wanting to play cards or use the table. For us, it's great and we are very happy with our choice. It's our third RV in nearly 40 years so we put a lot of thought into what we wanted in floorplan before finally making our purchase.

Homer3;
This will be our second rv. First one was a quick purchase of a class A for a trip to Glacier National Park. Coming out of Mt Rushmore the brakes went out. Had to hitch a ride to find phone reception. Called for a wrecker and transportation for the 5 adults and 3 children with me. Had it towed to Rapid City,SD for new brakes which would take 1 week to replace. Rented a 15 passenger van to continue vacation. Sold when we got back. We are researching this purchase much better. Both the wife and I like to cook and the 29fe would lets us work at stove and sink and be able to visit with anyone at dinette or sofa. It is the tv that is holding us up. TV hits wife in chest if she is on the inside with another person. Are there other similar sized and priced models beside Thor.

Love the position of the tv over the dinette, not the tv itself. That was a great feature after having another Thor with the tv over the bunk making for an uncomfortable viewing level.

My wife & I are with you on not liking the tv over the dinette. We also don't like rear facing kitchen sinks or stoves. We decided on the layout of the Thor 31W or Quantum WS31. We also got the one with the cabover entertainment center.
