Rodent issue

Hi there....my name is cindy cherone--CA RV owner--Thor ACE 2018
question...
in past yrs with other RV we have had we have not had any problems rodents. our RVs have always been parked in our driveway.
we have this ACE now for 2 years and this is the fist time ever we have noticed
droppings.....YIKES
my husband (who is a handyman at all things) can not figure out where they are coming in....
any one have suggestions on this?

also...is there an actual Users Manual for this RV model....lots of things that don't add up for us when figuring out the Plugin/generator usage/storage of power.

thank you in advance

Rodents have nothing to do all day; except figure out how to bug us!
You'll never seal an RV up enough to keep them out. I have a suspicion that they could even break into a submerged submarine...
So we keep them out with cotton balls soaked in peppermint oil.
So far: so good!

You also can trap or corpsify them. If you ignore them they will nest in inconvenient places and generally be a bother. I use old fashioned spring traps or sticky pads baited with candy bar pieces. Place them out in the open where they’re easy to check and remove. The critters will find them. Check often. Good luck

I've had good luck with Cab Fresh placed inside under cabinets/drawers & in storage compartments, also traps & sticky pads. Others will mention Irish Spring soap bars & dryer sheets, but I've found that they chew on the soap & build freshly scented nest with the dryer sheets. As Bob said there's nothing you can do to totally prevent them coming in, but you can prevent them from going back out........

If a rodent wants in nothing will keep them out. To block access, I use the light method. At night I turn on all the lights and open all the cabinet/closet doors. Then I go outside and underneath the coach and look for light. On my old coach, the rodents could enter the coach via the holes cut for the drain pipes. Was able to block the areas with steel wool and foam sealer. I think the best way to handle rodents is to use the coach a lot and keep a good supply of mouse traps.

The only products that ever worked for me were herbal packs and the mouse out

Storing it in a mouse tight has been extremely nice
