First time owners Omni SV34

Hello,
Another newbie here. We just pulled the trigger on the Omni SV34. We took possession last week Friday and packed her up want went camping over the weekend!
We have always pulled our boat and rented camper trailers or lake homes before hand. We are starting to bring our pups with us on vacation and discovered it was challenging to rental that allowed large dogs. So here we are!
Last weekend was stinking hot in Dallas, we pretty much stayed in the RV and worked out the AC units.

I do have one question, is flat towing worth the cost? I am guessing about 70% of the time we will be taking the boat with us and will tow with the truck.

We're glad that you found us!
As far as dragging along a Toad: that is something that you'll have to find out on your own...
How many times do you find yourself needing an extra vehicle for errands?

(We do bring along our little "Bug" )

Welcome to the group. Like Bob said it depends on how often you need a car. Will you be in places that have Uber or a rental service. Will the cost of those services exceed the cost of setting up a toad in a couple of years or will it take longer? Do you already have a vehicle that can be towed? We tow our Jeep most of the time even when we don’t end up using the Jeep it works like a trailer to carry extra stuff.

Congratulations! For us the expense to setup our Jeep for flat towing has been worth every penny. Only you can answer that question. With our last motorhome my wife either drove a separate vehicle or we used a tow dolly. I don't want to do that again.

We have a Magnitude SV34 and have been towing our Can-Am Spyder on an MC210 Aluma Trailer.

It has a 10,000lb hitch and the F-550 w/ 6.7 PowerStroke has enough power to tow anything.

I recently began preparing to tow for our longer trips out west and also to have another option if weather is not going to cooperate for taking the Spyder.

We purchased a 2018 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sahara and installed a Roadmaster Direct Connect Baseplate and wiring myself. I opted for the RVi3 Portable Breaking Unit. I also went with a Roadmaster NightHawk Tow Bar and Tow Defender rock protection screen.

I haven't taken it out yet but I am very pleased with the setup and looking forward to being able to have the flexibility between the Spyder and the Jeep.
