We just picked up a 2018 Axis 24.1.
We will be towing a 16ft enclosed aluminum trailer with a lightweight Formula 600 race car and our son's full size race kart. Our racing schedule takes all over the Western United States from the Pacific to the Missouri River, so we will put some miles on the rig. This holiday weekend we will be prepping the rig. Adding Sumo Springs and a viair 480c air compressor. Also need to wire up the brake controller. Lots of little storage mods needed. We are also researching Solar and an inverter. If we manage to come up with unique ideas that haven't already been covered here we will try to document. We have already gotten a ton of info from the forums in our shopping and planning. We are especially thankful for Col. Felker's amazing manual.

First mission.... to figure how to fit my abundantness underneath this coach. My knees love how low it is! And handling and gas mileage is no doubt better because of it... But I've never seen an RV so hard to get under, especially in the front.

Between the minimal working space under the RV and the "Tiny Shower" I have learned it is time for me to lose weight.
I like the lighter shade of beige they used on the 2018 model.

Well, that's the plan! You should see how small a race car I manage to drive at 6'1" 285.

Wow, tight fit! Not a lot of protection from FOD!!
FYI: Unless Thor has changed more than the color on the outside, there was NO protection for the radiator on the 2016 Vegas models. There is a thread this Forum on the various Mods. I used the metal dog screen door protector from Home Depo or Walmart (I forget who had the best price).
Welcome to the Forum

DocMike how did you mount the dog screen you use to protect your radiator?

As many interstate miles as we'll be doing that seems like a worthy early mod.

I have pictures at home on that computer (posted already on this forum somewhere). But the protector I got had metal "arms" extending to the left and right of the screen section for attachment to the door. With a little bending the arms reached to existing framework around the radiator and just took four pilot holes then self tapping screws to mount it.

Congrats and welcome to the Vegas/Axis Owners Confab. This forum will be an excellent source for answers and suggestions to your questions.

I believe there are also pictures in Ed's manual. I used expanded aluminum and painted it black. Used existing threaded female nuts in the radiator supports to secure it.

Not yet, just had it 6 days. Want to load it up and then check what the tongue weight of trailer does to the rear ride height. Also install the Sumo Springs as they may change ride height a little bit. It pulls to the right quite noticeably.
