2022 Thor Vegas 24.3

Hi! My husband and I have on order a 2022 Thor Vegas 24.3 that we purchased in January. We anticipate delivery in early June. Are there any other Axis/Vegas 24.3 owners out there? We are just wondering your initial impressions and any suggestions? We will be towing a Mini Cooper Roadster. We can’t wait to do some traveling!

Welcome! Once you take delivery and spend a few nights, please share your first impressions of the Murphy bed.

Welcome to the forum. Not to rain on your parade but stay on top of the dealer. A lot of folk that have deliveries scheduled for April are finding out their units will not be ready until June, if the parts arrive.A few folks have even cancelled orders for new rigs and decided to keep their old ones for another season or two.

Hopefully you will have better luck.

Congrats.

I dont have the 24.3 but I really enjoy my Axis 25.4.

I think the two person dinette would work great for me an my wife and the bathroom looks wonderful. I wish my local dealer would bring in Axis RUV's again... I loved comparing floor plans and new model features when they did.

Let us know how you like it and post some pictures.

Make sure you check out every square inch of the RV before you accept delivery. They will jump though hoops to fix it BEFORE your purchase is complete.....but once you drive off the lot and set an appt to get stuff fixed it will take a month or two in order to get anything done.

Luckliy Im handy so after the 2nd time dealing with Camping World I just fixed everything else myself. They ordered a few part (no charge) and I installed them at home. Everything was minor so 4 years later I cannot complain.

Is your Mini a Manual tranny? Or Auto?

sounds like the Auto Cannot be towed with all 4 down.

My mini is a 6 speed manual. We have a local RV repair shop do all the prep on the mini. Now we just shop for things we think we need and wait for delivery. We are still being told finished in May and delivery by mid June. Waiting has seemed like forever!

There was a recent thread on this topic- every thing from sewer hoses to tire monitors. Look it up.

My wife and I bought a 2022 Vegas 24.3 at the Hershey show. It's great. The bed is very comfortable and we love the extra space the Murphy bed provides us.

Hello all, I also ordered a Thor Vegas 24.3, I ordered mine in December 2021!

I think a May delivery likely, although Thor is more optimistic; we will see.

After years of reading and researching, I have finally found the coach that checked the boxes for me. I have also ordered a 2022 Chevy Spark 2LT manual to be my dinghy. As my new friends above said, looking forward to this exciting experience!
