I dont recommend using the GW. Traffic is usually a problem. The inbound toll is $15 for a car. Not sure what it is for a dually c class. Plus your stuff is going to bounce all over the place and my fellow Nu Yawkers will not have patience for you. I am assuming your route from there will be 95 into CT then 90 north? All of that is a traffic and bumpy problem.

I suggest taking 287W across the Tappan Zee (wave at me as you shoot through White Plains) to 684N to 84E. Way smoother. The toll at the Tappan Zee is $14.75 ($5.00 for cars) for a dually c class. Do not go near 684N during the evening rush hour.

An alternate would be to shoot up to 8wE at Newburgh but it is out of the way and adds NYS Thruway tolls.

It was all good.

If there was any pain, the Dr's sidekick would have put me out... Then I would have NO IDEA what actually happened.... Butt I digress, back to the subject:

They were all born on holidays.”

64-67 were the best years (to me). 66 and 67 had the lines and taillights I liked the most but I like the evolution coming out of 64.

It was a beefed up Tempest and took it's own road about 65 and started to stand out, especially with the tri-power carb set up. I believe that started in 66.

This is a 64.

By the way, since nobody has offered, the Class C RV toll is $44!

And, as several have stated, the roads are horrible.
Go north to Newburgh and cross on 84. A much more pleasant drive and the toll is $5 or so.

The last time they raised the tolls they said they were doing it to encourage people into using transit transportation. BS, they do it because they are revenue hungry and its going to get worse. Go around.

I'm sorry but, again, no one in their right mind crosses the GW in a RV. The roads are crap, the people can be animals and if you make a mistake and miss a turn, you basically have a full time job getting back on track. Go around.
