New member looking for opinions on Shadow Cruiser

Hello,
New member here and hopefully new RVer very soon. Any advice much appreciated. Hopefully you all can help. We are looking to purchase our first TT as soon as possible. Looking for max abt 28' and to keep GVW under abt 7500 max. In next couple years want to hit many National Parks. Will pull with '16 Expedition with HD tow rated to 9200lb. Just looked at new Shadow Cruiser 2400BHS and really liked it but dealer is 2.5 hrs away. Not many of this brand around and really not a lot of current info/opinions in forums. Feel free to comment especially on quality and how these are built. Mostly just the wife and I will be using but would like to have space avail for young adult kids if they'd ever join us. We were looking at no bunks until we saw this. We could go either way but want reasonable secondary sleeping options for adult size. We also liked Keystone Outback 221UMD (dinette bed option was short and cushions do not even fit tight), Open Range 2410RL, and a used FR Surveyor 243RBS. Comments on any? Also feel free to comment on Towing set up with our Expedition, trying to learn as much as I can.

Thanks for any advice.

We upgraded from a Forest River Wolf Pup 16BHS to a Shadow Cruiser 225RBS. I can't tell you much in comparison to the other models that you mentioned.

I will say that compared to the Wolf Pup, the SC is a light years improvement, but still an RV. I purchased a month ago and already having issues with the front lock and some graphics delamination and some interior touches, but a lot of that is exacerbated by nearly two weeks of solid rain here in Oklahoma.

On the other hand, it's the other touches that I love. Much more interior storage than the Wolf Pup, including a silverware drawer (it's little things like that). I can close the bathroom door and still use the toilet, which was impossible in the Wolf Pup.

We have sold our Forest River Micro Lite FD19 and very interested in a Shadow Cruiser 225RBS. I have only looked at online pictures thus far but am excited to have a dealer scheduled to show me one in the next few days. I will be able to provide more input on fit and finish in the next few days.

We also have a list of National Parks we would like to visit. Just returned from Main Acadia National Park. Simply breath taking.

We had a 2017 Grand Design Imagine with a very similar floor plan, but the bath was HUGE... spanned the entire rear area, with a great shower. We got lucky and bought a 2020 24F MH before prices went insane. But looks like the inflated prices are dropping.

We stayed small in order to fit into small parks and also boondock. We don't need to take our whole house with us!

We recently bought a Shadow Cruiser 248 RKS after having a 2019 Solaire 202RB. So far we are completely happy with the SC. The front pass through storage is huge and storage in general is more than adequate. The SC has several options usually only found on trailers starting at a higher price point.
