Shadow Cruiser 280QBS TV Mount

Hoping any of you could lend a little info here. Picked up our new trailer and there is not a tv mounted. I called Thor and was told the backer is 5/8 inch which seems really really shallow for a wood backer when my mount screws are 2 inches long. I measured the cabinet that this is supposed to attach to and it appears to be at least 2 1/4 inches deep (photos).

Anyone have any thoughts on if I am safe with the 2 inch supplied screws for this?

Screws supplied by who? Are you installing a mount for the TV? Are these mount supplied screws that they expect to go into a stud?

Screws from the manufacturer of the locking TV mount. Thor said it was a backer, not a stud that I would be screwing into. Looks like there is enough length there and this is a TV mount that was recommended for RV use.
