Hello all, new member, happy I found you. I have been looking for information regarding the "solar port" on the driver's front side of my 2022 Shadow Cruiser 240BHS. Does the Cruiser have a solar controller built-in (unlikely) or is this just a port that runs to the battery?

Sorry you haven't had an answer yet. Suggest you call Thor with your VIN and ask them, unless someone comes up with an answer.

While you have them on the phone, ask them for all the schematics for your rig.

I just purchased a 2020 Radiance R-25RB that has that same port. I called customer support to ask them about it and if there was also a port on the roof. They didn’t have clue where it went (great support) but I traced it out and it just goes to the battery. The solar kits you buy will have a controller. I thought this would also make a great port to plug in a battery maintainer. You would think that in the wiring to the roof they would have made some provision to put some solar panels where they belong. Looks like another project for me.
