I donated our 2400 to our church and they are paying rent and house payments and other bills for people in our community that have been laid off

To "stimulate" the economy!
You can't stimulate the economy if you can't get out and then most stores are also closed.

We have spent more money shopping online as the local stores are closed or out of stock of items.
So most of our spending has shifted from local businesses to online behemoths like Amazon, Walmart, Wayfair and Ebay.
Some other changes are:
We have increased our cooking and baking knowledge and even make our own bread,
Home exercising routines
Family hair cuts, Etc.
to be honest some of the changes we are enjoying and might even continue after this is over, so the government money handout will become a charitable contribution.

I know people who are making more money on unemployment than when they worked with the $600 extra. Literally asked to be laid off. Plus with the stimulus check its just crazy.

And possibly more money coming

Automatic BOOST to Communities (ABC) Act proposal,
If approved, the ABC Act would provide every American with a BOOST debit card that is preloaded with $2,000. The card would be reloaded with $1,000 each month until one year after the end of the COVID-19 crisis.

They're gaming the system and people have been doing that since the dawn of time.

Sure, but now it’s officially sanctioned and encouraged. Not to sound too much like a conspiracy freak I truly think there is an effort afoot to move the nation toward a socialist model. If enough people like getting “free money” it’ll be hard to get them weaned. There is little or no thought as to where this money is going to come from. By either party.

So much for fiscal responsibility.

They arent gaming it all. Thats when they skirt the laws and find loopholes. This is how its structured and right out there, legal and all.
