Aren't we all starting to over-think this one?
Not that I don't love the banter: I just think that we might have scared the O.P. into hiring an electrical contractor to re-wire his house!

It was always interesting to see the folks buying batteries in the morning after wally docking during freezing weather and loosing heat in the middle of the night

Travel trailers and 5th wheels without generators primarily

They found one 12v battery and often 2 won't run the blower on the furnace all night in cold weather

This was out West on the high plains
