2006 Hurricane

A few months ago I bought an older 31 ft. Hurricane from an RV dealer. I purposely bought the 2006 model because the ford engine had been improved and was more powerful than the 2004 engine. I wasn't told that the chassis was a 2004 model. Does anyone have any suggestions for me. I feel like I was sold an under powered product. Thank you. Merle 7711

It is quite common for the RV chassis to be the prior year to the RV assembly - but 2 years I hadn't seen before... I assume it is titled as a 2006 RV.
Not sure what to suggest other than talking to the dealer...
What would you want them to do?

I had a 2000 Infinity (30ft) - underpowered isn't a word that came to mind - it certainly held its own - if I was willing to pay the gas bill.

Not yet retired...

gmc, our 2016 Alante is built on a 2014 F-53 chassis. It was one of the first built according to the dealer we got it from. So far only a few problems, thr accent lights on the front aren't working, and an intermittent backup camera.
