Axerra Video Out

I am a little disappointed in the Axerra monitor in my 2016 Challenger 37KT in the way it displays the rear camera views. I don't know if it is because the screen resolution is only 800x480 or because the cameras are of relatively low quality. Voyager advertises the VCMS10B (in Thor's list of equipment in my coach it was mistakenly called a VCM510B - thought I never would find anything about it on the internet until I realized the 5 should have been an S) rear-view camera as a "low cost" option. The Voyager monitor and cameras on my previous coach provided much clearer images. The Axerra has a video out, according to the specs, and I'm wondering if anyone has ever connected an external monitor or has anyone ever replaced the rear camera with one of higher quality?
