2014 four winds mirror problem

i have a problem with my left and right side mirrors. They shake while driving. The mirror type is a Velvac #717505 left side and 717506 right side. I have called and talked to Velvac engr.group about this with no real solution. Anyone else having this problem.

I'm not sure what kind we had but I Googled Velvac and it sure looks like what we have. Our mirrors are quite solid. Very little vibration. Only complaint I have is that the electric adjustment is difficult to use. Moves to fast. Even a little bump on the button will move it too much.

Is the mirror itself or the arm that supports it that is shaking? You might be able to tighten it up.

I have heard that the Velvac glass is attached with silicone and Velcro. It could just be a loose attaching point on the glass to the mirior mechanism.

Thanks skip. You Are correct. 4 small pads that hold the glass but it appears it's the plastic plates that holds the small motor. Snap in type guess rec'd drawings from Velvac. Will let you know when complete

Pacific RV is a distributor for Velvac mirrors and seem to be very helpful. You can check them out online.
