2015 Thor Windsport breakdowns and repairs

So sick of having to repair items in this RV 😩. Everything we go on a trip we have to fix something. We had to get a new radio with the camera. First the disc did work and the backup camera didn’t work so they put a new one in. Now the “fixed” it and we took a few trips and now the cameras don’t work again. Ready to sell. It’s one thing after the next.

Yeah, I got a 2015 and my problems are similar about the radio and back up camera.

Oh yeah had problems with power to the slide out but found the wire to the 15A fuse at the pump wasn't crimped. Fixed that myself.

I feel your frustration! My Wife & I are out with our g-daughters as I write. This trip alone the levelingng Jack's in the rear went fully extended and promptly quit working. Spent 4 hours getting them back working. Bathroom door was jammed shut during that fiasco. The next day the slide stopped working! I've been looking at the Winnebago Journey online. The 34Y would fit perfect.

!

I hear ya! We bought our 2014 hurricane in 2015, even came with an extended warranty that has done us pretty much no good.

My husband and I were just discussing our situation as we currently have it for sale.... I just used it this weekend and had yet again issues.. fridge won't work on electric only gas, something going on with fuses, short etc.and our seats started peeling, so now all furniture looks horrible!! But, we had great time and really enjoy it in general, just wish things would stay working!! I asked him, hey maybe we should just keep it.. hes like your crazy! We have put so much money into it.. ugh

Before we even used it one time the radio/camera system went out, then on our second trip to New mexico from texas during a rain storm our wind shield wiper literally fell away from the wind shield and broke... then on same trip slide stuck in and wouldn't go out, motor had to be replaced... then the electrical wires were hanging and dragging and had to be fixed, caused huge issue... ugh.. I feel your pain.

I wonder if they are all the same? I know being handy really helps.. and we are not.. but my dad was a mechanic and he was always tinkering with his and he could fix anything.. so for him he just fixed it himself but we have to pay other people to fix...
