Saikyo TV with built-in DVD

We can't figure out how to make these TVs play DVDs. When we push the d. setup button nothing happens. Are we missing a step or just not doing something correctly? Thanks for any help.

On the remote, there should be a button marked "input" push that and a pop up menu should appear on the screen, select "DVD" and it should display your DVD content...

Be sure the DVD label is facing to the rear. The plain side should be facing you when you insert. Seems backward, but it works if that is your problem.

I haven't used mine yet. But that is nice to know!

I spent a hour figuring that out before I realized it was a blue-ray disc.

Yup! We had a Poloroid brand DVD/TV from Target that worked the same.
