2016 Axis 24.1 touch screen radio - piece to right of radio

Does anyone know what the piece that sticks out to the right of the touch screen radio in right upper corner as shown in picture. Maybe it has something to do with passenger side workstation on dashboard, no idea PLEASE HELP

that is a light which comes on when you turn off the motor....it goes off by itself ....but, you should always remember to turn off the radio after turning off ignition to prevent battery drain.

Welcome to RV'ing. THere are lots of little questions that will pop-up and are not in the info given to you at time of purchase. For me, it was how to hook up the "stinky-slinky"; that was before I learned the sewer connection would twist downward towards the opening in the bottom of the bay...once the cover has been removed - and watch out for the sharp screws sticking out the bottom of the sewer bay.

Search this Forum for Ed's Manual, it is for the 24.1 but covers LOTS OF STUFF that will make your rookie year RV'ing much smoother sailing if you get it and read thru it.

A bit of additional information regarding use of the Axxera radio...
When turning off ignition, make sure you have taken the Axxera Radio out of rear camera mode...if you have a tendancy to drive with the rear camera on....then depress the on/off button to turn off radio. If you do not manually turn off radio and USE/STORE SWITCH is in the USE mode, your Axxera will remain on and will drain battery
