Question 2016 Thor Hurricane 35c Generator won't turn over or start?

The generator in our 2016 Hurricane 35c suddenly has no power to it. It won't turn over so it has no chance to start. Checked the oil and it appears close to the LOW mark. How does that impact the generator starting? (if it does at all).
Any suggestions?

It doesn't.

Your house batteries have to be charged to start the generator.
There is a lead on the +12VDC side that goes through a 100 amp resettable DC breaker. If a red or yellow flag is visible the breaker needs to be reset by pushing the flag back in. Then try to start it with the controls on the generator to eliminate any remote wiring issues.

2016 Hurricane 35 C Generator

Thank you 16ACE27. The only breakers I saw on the generator were two side by side 30 amp breakers. I didn't see the 100 amp resettable DC breaker you
refer to. Where might I find it?

It's not on the generator: They are normally located in your house battery bay. Trace the cables from the positive leads. You will probably find a 50 amp breaker as well and if you have an Inverter you may find a fusible link as well.

Don't over fill the oil, it's been highly recommended to bring the oil almost to the full mark.
Over filling will cause the generator to shut down.

Thank you 16ACE27. We found the 100 amp DC resettable breaker in the house battery bay. A yellow flag was out. We reset that flag as you advised. Presto - problem solved.

We also refilled the oil to just below the FULL line as someone else recommended. All good to go, now.

Thanks for updating the thread and congratulations on finding and fixing the problem. FYI that breaker also supplies power to your hydraulic leveling motor.
