2017 Ace leveling jacks question

Hello everyone :-). On our most recent trip after we put up the Jacks and head down the road about every 30 seconds the leveling jacks Whitewood flash Jack's down and for about four seconds the pump runs like it's bringing them back up. We got out and looked and we could not see the Jack's dropping at all so they should not have needed to be raised back up especially every 30 seconds. We got home just fine and it is still doing it if the engine is running. Maybe they are dropping just a little bit? Or maybe there is a sensor that is thinking it needs to try and re raise them? Anybody else have this issue in the past? Any advice? It is not stopping us from doing anything but it is annoying and I don't want to wear out the pump. Thank you!

We have Big Foot hydraulic levelers that did similar. One of them would drop ever so slightly so as not to contact the "up" switch/sensor. The jack wasn't really down... just not fully up where it should have been. The answer for ours was to bleed air from the system.

Is that with the control panel shut off?

You could shut off the power to the pump to keep it from actually operating while moving. But if a jack is actually dropping, that could be a problem too.

Your "Jacks Down" indicator is run by pressure (which keeps your jacks up). If the pressure gets below the sensor's setpoint the system goes into emergency retract while driving and pumps the jacks back up. You have a hydraulic leak either external to the system or internal in a valve or seal which is bleeding the pressure off.

I just came across this in response to a similar question in RV Magazine. It may be what you are looking for. It looks like the jack pressure is always monitored by the system.
