2018 Vegas slide awning

I extended the slide and near the end heard a loud pop. The brackets on both ends of the slide broke. Any suggestions on what I need to do? I live in Mi and am traveling in Fl. Stuck in a park with broken slide awning. Should I attempt to remove the awning and head toward Mi? Will rain water leak into unit with the awning removed? Or should I attempt to get another awning installed at a dealer?
Is the awning a common replacement item or something that needs to be ordered? I have a huge problem and don’t really know what is my best option.
Any suggestion would be sincerely appreciated.
I contacted General RV in PlantCity Fl two days ago to see if I could get replacement brackets or complete awning. Tech said she would check and call me yesterday. I called her again yesterday and was told it was her day off. No reply as of this morning. Don’t look promising that I will have success there but will continue trying.
Can anyone tell me the manufacture of the awning as I also contacted Camping World but they need that information before searching for replacement.
Can’t drive unit with awning hanging So stuck here for now.
