I once covered my Missus' 1997 S-Blazer with mud about like that...
She STILL hasn't forgiven me for it!

I once covered my girlfriend in mud like that while ridding an open-frame buggy through muck fields in south Florida. After washing all clothes we had to throw them away. Not my finest moment.

It looks to me like the Ranger will weigh just slightly less than the F150. Many of the F150 are towable and if the weight is close the 150 may be a better option. Bronco is planned for 2020

You can't beat the deals on on the 150s right now till January 2, at 0% 72month. With thousands off manufacture price. I'm seriously thinking about it...

We picked up our Ranger this last Friday. Drove it home in a snowstorm that gave us just under 11 inches. Checked out the F-150 but like the size of the Ranger. Now I just have to hope that BlueOx or competitor comes out with a baseplate for it.

Best of luck with the new ranger.
How did it go in the snow?
Can you flat tow it?

Drove great in the snow. Handled great. I was a bit nervous about all the other drivers but traffic was light. The 4x4 can be flat towed. The two wheel drive cannot.

Congrats. I preordered one a few weeks ago.
Check with the baseplate manufacturers. Roadmaster is offering a free baseplate to the first person to offer their vehicles for a few days. It actually says one free for each model on their website. Unfortunately, they are in Washington. I emailed BlueOx and they also said that they would need a customer's vehicle to design the baseplate. Didnt offer it for free but I bet they all do it this way. They'll easily make their money back.

If anyone is interested in a toad we are selling our 2995 Jeep Liberty. All set up for flat tow except for brake. PM if interested. Don’t need it since we bought the Ranger.

When you get a chance; post some pics of your Ranger.

Check to see if eTrailers RM 477-1 Roadmaster XL Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms still works. I have one on my 04 with the Blue OX adapter. Best part is: no valance hack on your new truck. You just take the valance off, bolt up the base plates, reinstall the valance and you're done - lickity split. PM with any specific questions.
As an aside, my daughter drove my Ranger home in a 10" snow storm from Atlantic City NJ to Wilmington DE and stopped at the foot of the driveway. Go figure.
I can personally tell you that if you shovel your driveway and throw the snow in the bed, you just transformed your Ranger into the best highway snow mobile you've ever owned. I'd swear that on a stack of Bibles.

But I'll bet that helping her get cleaned-off was!

Checked with Etrailer and the called BlueOx, Democrat, and Roadmaster. All three plan to develop baseplates but none currently have them. Waiting on a customer unit to be able to engineer the unit. The New Ranger is quite a bit larger than the old Ranger.

Isn't ETRAILER right there in WENTZVILLE, MO? Volunteer your truck to them and besides free installation you'll probably get at least the baseplate free as well. Looks like only a 20 minute drive.

We are about 15 minutes from Etrailer BUT they just install. The customer unit would have to be at the manufacturer site. The only one that would offer a free install was Roadmaster and they are in Washington state. Closest was Demco in Iowa and they are several months away from working on the Ranger. BlueOx is over 7 hours away.
We have had a lot of installs done at Etrailer because of the free installs.

Yeah, I knew that . Just checking to see if you had it figured out.
Don't know why I thought ETrailer would "engineer" it.
