2019 Thor Chateau 24DS

I have a 2019 Thor Chateau Class C 24DS. It is on the 3500 Sprinter chassis. My question is what is the size of my black tank sewer pipe? OR how do I measure to get the correct size (measure the diameter)? thanks for the help

Down load your waste water diagrams from Thor and they should have a dimensional parts list for all the plumbing.

I'm going to go out on a limb here.
If you can't access to measure the pipe diameter, what are you doing with the pipe you're buying or what's the project?

What are you trying to get that needs a "correct size"?

Standard RV sewer hose connections are standard. Most BLACK tank discharge piping is 3". Nost GRAY tank discharge piping is 1.5".

Smile 2019 Thor Chateau

Ted,

My sewer pipe support bracket failed and right now I have just a couple loops of strapping holding the sewer pipe up. A fix while while we
were in Ouray, Colorado. We are home now and I wanted to order another piece of strapping / bracket. There are 3" and 4" brackets so I wanted to know what mine was on the Chateau. It's over 100 degrees here so I really didn't want to go to the lot and crawl under the motor home for measurement. LOL I believe it's 3" also but just wanted some confirmation on how to measure the pipe for sure. I have searched the manuals and can't find an answer in the thousands of pages of documentation. Thanks for your answer. Have a great day.

Don't remove the plumbers tape(if that's what you're using.).
I'd rather have way too much hanger than not enough.
And
Check for lateral cracks. If it bounced any it might have stress cracks that seep more than leak.

(We had to ask why, to make sure someone isn't cutting off their waste valves in an effort to change the light bulb in their back tank. Hang out here long enough and you'll sigh at that instead of laugh).
