2019 Thor Hurricane 29M Class "A" Motorhome

I'm looking at a 2019 Thor Hurricane 29M.....wondering opinions on this RV. I have C CLASS now but am looking to buy a new A class. This machine only has 9000KM. Does anyone have opinions on this RV?

Thor MC's plant 750 best selling model in the Hurricane and Windsport line for 2017-2019 was the 29m followed closely with the 35m.

I have a 2020 29m. We have put about 4k miles on ours and like it a lot. What would you like to know about it?

Owner of a 2018 29M. Once the bugs were worked out it has been an okay coach. It has more room than our old class c, but the class c had a better ride.

We have a 2020 29m and have put over 8000 miles on it. Like virtually everyone else we had minor problems with fit and finish and have added on handling improvements to the chassis. After that I think it is a very good coach with a great floor plan for two people. We are currently in S Texas for 2 months and enjoying the 29m!

I guess I'm just looking at pros and cons. It is a big purchase for us so want to be sure we don't end up with an RV that others have had a lot of trouble. Our C Class has been a great RV but feel it needs better support in the front end. We are looking for a bit more space, an A class for nicer visibility, the auto leveling and a better roof. I welcime anything you may have to share.

Can you share what you did to the chassis to make it handle better.

A steering stabilizer is a must have item in my opinion. I installed the roadmaster stabilizer on mine. Night and day difference.

Which rear bar did you use? Do you think it helped?

I installed the Ultratrac model UTF53V8R from Brazil’s Performance. I could definitely feel a reduction in the rear side to side motion. I would call it an improvement but not a major one.

Love my 2019 hurricane 29m

This is exactly what I have and I traded my class c to purchase. Both were the same length but the difference in my C to the A was absolutely amazing. The 29m was actually easier to drive. You won't be disappointed with this model and size and I gave had NO ISSUES with Thor products

Easier to drive and no issues with Thor quality. Did you also see Bigfoot and a Unicorn at the same time?

Why yes, yes I did. I don't understand your issue with my statement. FOR ME, it WAS easier to DRIVE AND PARK than my Class C and I have HAD NO ISSUES with Thor. Minor issues were immediately taken care of and I will shock you further...my dealer was Camping World which is the same dealer I purchased my Class C from and they have treated me well both times. Some if us aren't afraid to say these things
Oh and by the way, THIS IS A THOR FORUM, if you aren't happy with your Thor if you have one, why are you still here. This lady asked for personal opinions of a specific year, make and model and I gave her MY personal opinion which is a positive one.[QUOTE=Lt Keefer;277077]

All reviews I've read were positive. It has a great size and great floor plan for those of us who don't want an extremely long motorhome. I specifically picked this model for those things and more

We sold our class 24 ft C for Thor 2017 ACE with one big slide out and super happy with it. My husband feels it drives better than C but I still need to learn to drive more it as so much bigger than class c but I have driven it and it drives great. It came with added on stabilizer

Ive looked at both of those over the last year but have always been leery of the full wall slide on the 29M. Just cant imagine not having trouble with 2 small gear driven motors only, pulling at the ends of a moving room to not break down.
