2020 Vegas 27.7 Storage Compartment

Hey all, have any Vegas/Axis owners experienced leaks in the exterior large storage compartment (front door side)? It happens when it rains and the bus is parked which leads me to believe it is an issue with the door and/or it's weather stripping. I ran a new bead of silicon on the top part of the hinge and tightened up the turn latches as we all the lock and I still get water inside. Thank you all in advance. Click image for larger version

When I had my ACE I to got water in the bins. Tried and tried to figure it out, finally ended up drilling a few small drain holes in the bottom of the bins. I know it did not solve the problem but it did help keep the bin dry.

When I had my Freedom Elite I would sometimes get rainwater in one compartment. I bought some self stick closed cell door insulation about a half inch wide and 3/16 inch thick. Applied it to the inside of the door where it closes against the factory seal on the coach. Worked a treat.

The bin should have a drain plug in it.
Take it out for a while and then check to see if the condensation quits making puddles.
If this works, there are scuppers available called 'pinch scuppers'. They are commonly on the water drain of automotive ac units.
Install one.
