24HE Dinette Table Question

Hi all. Hopefully picking up my new to me 2018 24HE this week and have a question on the dream dinette table - I see the table "pushes" down to make the sleeping area but can you also remove the table portion to get it out of the way easily (meaning taking on/off once or twice a trip) without having to unscrew anything? It looks like the answer is no and the metal arm/bracket would still be in the way without the table but I can't tell for sure.

Looking forward to hanging out on this forum. Take care.

Welcome to the forum. We have the same style dinette and the answer to your question is no.

It requires removal of the screws each time. Then the screws might become loose upon repeated removal.

But you have options if you want to be able to remove it frequently. You can just remove all of the existing hardware and mount the table of a pair of table support tubes with recessed moi to in the floor and “cone” mounts screwed to the bottom of the table.

Thanks all & to Pete'sMH yes that is a good option. I'm the RVer but it my S.O. hasn't been RVing (except as a child). If he is onboard with it after our maiden journey and we decide to keep this particular RV only change I can see in our future is I will either change the table to the support pole option or swap out dinette for recliners. In a previous MH w/dinette I turned the regular dinette into U-Shaped so we could watch TV/hang out at an angle that is more comfortable but I did it in a totally removable each time way and didn't actually change the dinette per se because I knew I would be selling that one and didn't want to butcher it up. I put a smaller square tabletop instead of rectangle but left the rest of the set up as it was - just added a seat board which laid across the back under the window between the 2 benches and a new long cushion covering the back.
Haven't been camping in 9 years so I'm getting really psyched for first trip. Doing everything I can to make sure the first impression is a good one because if it's a miserable trip for whatever reason(s) it will be a turnoff to him then I'll be camping with just my dog LOL.
